Quick Cache is a plugin that speeds up the loading of your website’s pages. And its latest update brings down the wordpress site. If you happen to use Quick Cache and are about to do an update, deactivate Quick Cache first.
You’ll want to find an alternative to Quick Cache – there’s W3 Cache and WP Total Cache you can try as well. Believe it or not, all of these including Quick Cache are on people’s “top caching plugins” list…bet they don’t know about the latest update though!
If you did an update and your site went down, you can go into your host files, “wp-content” – “plugins” – and just delete the entire folder for Quick Cache…your site will come right back up!
Hope this helps! Feel free to contact me if you’re having issues with it…happy to help!
